Dr. Rallatos was extensively trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including bunions, hammer toes, heel procedures, and trauma, Dr. Rallatos then joined Dr. Sean Kaufman in private practice in Kenilworth, New Jersey in 2006 to form Innovative Foot and Ankle. Dr. Michael Rallatos graduated cum laude with a bachelor's of arts degree in biology from Boston University in 1999. From there, Dr. Rallatos decided to attend the New York Colloge of Podiatric Medicine where he obtained a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2003 while achieving several acadameic awards and graduating in the top of his class. In 2003, he began an extensive three year surgical residency at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center. In his third year at Saint Barnabas, Dr. Rallatos served as the chief resident of the program.

Foot & Ankle Treatments

Dr. Rallatos is Board Qualified in Foot and Ankle surgery as well as Rearfoot Reconstructive surgery. He is on staff at the Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Union Surgery Center, and The Park Avenue Surgery Center. The practice also is expanding to offer Physical Therapy in the Kenilworth location of the convenience of their patients. Non-invasive vascular testing as well as ultrasound diagnostics can also be performed on premises. State of the art digital X-rays can also be performed on premises.

State-of-the-Art Podiatry Technology & Procedures

Within the field of podiatric medicine, Dr. Rallatos is extensively trained in several arthroscopic and open surgical techniques, EPAT (extracorpeal pulse activation treatment - shock wave therapy) for plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, and other inflammatory disorders, Aerolase Laser which is the most powerful laser on the market for treatment of fungal toenails, and new technologies for pain management including diabetic and peripheral neuropathies. The EPAT equipment is the same that is used by several professional athletic teams including the New York Jets.
